The first time his sex scandal broke out was with one Miss Walter who confessed to her sexual relationship with Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, the senior Pastor of Common Wealth of Zion Assembly. He had taken her to different hotels, even outside the country for their sexual escapade.
With time the story died down.
But this time, the bomb exploded bigger and wider.
Pastor Fatoyinbo had raped Busola Dakolo, wife of Nigerian top musician, Timi Dakolo. She made this confession during an exclusive interview with Chude Judeonwo, a digital media expert and a broadcaster.
The rape did not happen once. It happened once before he got married, and then after he got married. Bukola explained that the first time it happened was when she was back from school one holiday, at Ilorin. She was less than 18 and a virgin. He visited her at night when the parents and sister had travelled. Without many words, he started bushing her to a chair and then pulled down her pants. He forced himself to make love to her that night. She could only protest but never able to overcome him.
Filled with guilt, shock, surprise, and disoriented, she wondered why he did it. And what the pastor said further shocked her:
âYou should be happy that a man of God did this to you.â
She went back to school aft wards but the guilt never left her, as an active member and assistant President of the Fellowship of Christian students at Gifted School, Suleja, now Federal Academy.
And it happened again, this time in the back seat of his Mercedes Benz car and then on the Bonnet. She had visited Fatoyinbo in his house when his wife gave birth to their first child and he offered to drop her off. On their way, he detoured, drove to a lonely place and had his way again.
Busola Dakolo had to open up for the first time after her husband had posted on social media how randy Nigerian pastors have been taking advantage of young girls in their churches. She had told Timi about this which led to his posts. And then her siblings got to know and threatened to go confront Fatoyinbo
