NIGERIA’S SUPER EAGLES DROPS TO 36TH POSITION IN FIFA WORLD RANKING LIST

The FIFA global ranking for February has slipped Nigeria to 36th position dropping the team by one point as they formerly held the 35th position.

In the African ranking, the Super Eagles ranks the fifth best country as Senegal retains the No.1 spot, Tunisia second, Algeria and Morocco, third and fourth.

Meanwhile, in the world record, Senegal ranks 20th whilst Tunisia ranks 26th.

The Super Eagles however has the opportunity to improve their position in the list id they defeat the 143rd ranking team in the world record, Lesotho, Benin Republic in their remaining 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures on March 30th.

While Belgium remains top of the FIFA world ranking and France as the second, others who complete the top 10 in the list are; Brazil, England, Portugal, Spain, Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico and Italy
